We just had our 20 week appointment...and everything looks great. We are definately having a little GIRL!!! Most importantly she looks healthy and is very busy in there. Using a 3-D ultrasound we were able to check out all of her organs and even saw her yawning; apparently it is boring in there. Get your calendars out, our due date is October 16th and we'll be starting a poll soon for birthdate guesses. Now everyone go home from work tonight and have a nice glass of wine for me, please.

We both have birthdays in May which makes us the same astrological sign, the Taurus. Now I'm not really one to believe in all of that, but the Taurus is a bull and John and I are both known for being um, ah, a little stubborn at times. His B-day was May 6th and mine is May 19th. I'd like to also send a Happy Birthday shout-out to my two sister-in-laws Alyssa (May 4th) and Dana (May 3rd)!!!Love you girls!

Where we are now...

John and I currently live in Havre, Montana where we find the slower pace of life quite relaxing. We have the priviledge of working together in the oil and gas business with John's mom, Sandy. We are happy to announce that we are expecting a baby in October!!! I have a sneaky suspicion it is a boy, but we will find out at our next appointment in June so we'll keep you posted. If anyone finds themselves with a strong desire to visit Havre, please do! We promise to give you an excellent tour of the town (it should only take about 5 minutes) and we would love the opportunity to connect with you.

Tragedy

On Friday, September 13th, 2007, John Brown Sr. was tragically taken from us in an airplane crash while on his way to go fishing in Anacortes, Washington. We miss him terribly, yet appreciate his vibrant smile and the times we had with him.

Having our friends gathered in Missoula for the week of our wedding was the absolute best. From our fabulous wedding party, to my Alpha Phis and John's cousins we had a blast!

The Wedding

For those of you who don't know or couldn't make it, and for those of you that were there but maybe don't remember clearly, we were married Saturday, August 4th in Missoula, Montana. It was a beautiful ceremony and reception at the Country Club and we were even lucky enough for all of the forest fire smoke to clear the air for our special day. Our special thanks to everyone for being a part of our wedding day!!
